This policy explains the limited information Well Water Clarity collects, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.
Who operates this site
Well Water Clarity operates WellWaterClarity.com as an independently operated educational website based in Oklahoma. Privacy questions may be sent to contact@wellwaterclarity.com.
Information you choose to provide
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you include. Do not send medical records, Social Security numbers, financial account information, passwords, or other highly sensitive information. We use correspondence to respond, maintain business records, protect legal rights, and improve the site.
Technical and hosting data
Our hosting, network, security, and email providers may process routine technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser, device, and security events. Retention and exact fields depend on those providers and operational needs.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is off unless you select Accept in the analytics notice. If accepted, Google Analytics may process device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, first-party identifiers, referring information, pages viewed, and interactions. We use it to understand readership and improve content. Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google signals are disabled in our configuration. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, message text, or symptom-finder answers to Google Analytics.
Your choice is stored in your browser using local storage under the key wwc-analytics-consent. Declining does not block core site access. Use the Cookie choices control in the footer to change your choice. You may also clear site data in your browser.
Cookies and local storage
Before analytics consent, the site uses local storage only to remember the analytics choice. If analytics is accepted, Google may set or read analytics cookies or similar identifiers. Third-party sites reached through external or affiliate links may use their own technologies under their own policies.
Symptom Finder
The Symptom Finder runs in the browser. We do not intentionally transmit or store selected answers on our server or send them to Google Analytics. Technical server logs may still record that the Finder page was requested.
How information may be shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, email, analytics after consent, security, and professional advice. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal and accounting obligations, security, disputes, and recordkeeping. Retention varies by information type and provider. We may delete, anonymize, or archive information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information handled. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information may contact us to request review and deletion.
Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need information to verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Contact us at the address above.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because optional analytics is disabled until affirmative consent, a visitor who does not accept analytics is not measured through that feature. The site does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not claim to respond to every browser signal beyond these practices.
External links and international access
External websites control their own privacy practices. The site is directed primarily to users in the United States. Visitors outside the United States understand that information may be processed in the United States.
Changes
We may revise this policy as the site, vendors, or law changes. The Last updated date will change, and material changes may also be announced on the site.
